Dr. Pravin Kini is a Serial Entrepreneur in healthcare and life sciences and Professional specialized in Infertility Medicine and Advanced reproductive technologies. Dr. Pravin Kini is the founder of Iscape Sciences – Meditech and Biotech incubator, which is a Health care Incubator and Investment company and its interests are Cell based therapy, medical skill education, progressive parenting, IVD manufacture and Large scale Embryo Production. Previous to that Dr. Kini was a founder of Bourn Hall Clinic International (P) Ltd, Progenee Inc., Isansys, Accacia, CytoGenomics Inc., Tropical Animal Genetics India (P) Ltd – TAG. Dr. Kini was also the Co-founder of Bourn Hall International, CEO Bourn Hall Clinic – India. Bourn Hall Clinic is the world’s first IVF clinic with its founders Robert Edwards ( Nobel prize winner 2010 for Medicine) and Patrick Steptoe were responsible for the First IVF baby Louise Browne. In addition to this Dr. Kini has held prestigious positions within Health industry.

Aluri Rao
Director

Aluri Rao is a Managing Director of Morgan Stanley. Mr. Rao joined MSPE Asia in 2008 and focuses on the group’s private equity transactions in India. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Mr. Rao was Director of Private Equity at ICICI Venture and one of the senior private equity professionals on the team. He has led numerous landmark private equity investments particularly in the healthcare sector. At ICICI Venture, Mr. Rao led transactions including the buyout of allied businesses of Ranbaxy Laboratories, the tie-up with Dr Reddy’s, roll ups such as Iven Medicare and Swiss Biosciences as well as growth investments in Avesthagen, Arch Pharma, Malladi, Bharat Biotech, Metropolis and Onconova amongst others. He served as a member of the board on several of these portfolio companies. He brings with him over 20 years of organizational building and corporate experience in India, UK and USA. Mr. Rao is Indian and is based in Hyderabad. He is a graduate of BITS, Pilani, and a Sloan Fellow from the London Business School.

Currently Chairman of Canadian Rare-Disease Company ProMetic Lifesciences Inc. Previous Chairman of ICRISAT in Hyderabad and CEO of Roslin BioMed which he spun out of the Roslin Institute to commercialize its animal cloning platform.
